When providing our services, selling goods, and operating our websites, we process some personal data. The processing of personal data is regulated in particular by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

If you contact us in connection with our products and services, we will work with your contact details that you provide to us mainly through the contact form. These are personal data in the scope of: name, surname, address, email, phone contact.

For what reason?

Based on the personal data you provide, we will subsequently contact you regarding our offer of goods and services.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – fulfillment of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of entering into a contract for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.

For how long will we process personal data?

If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for X years from our last communication.

Processing of personal data in case of purchase

If you purchase from us, we will work with the personal data that we need from you to ensure the conclusion of a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are mainly billing data: name, surname, address, email, telephone contact.

Why?

We need to process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract - delivery of goods or provision of services. By using the contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, any complaints or your questions.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and others).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

It is processing based on Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR - performance of a contract and Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR - compliance with our legal obligation. If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or provision of our services.

How long will we process personal data?

During the provision of goods or services and then 10 years from the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.

Newsletter (commercial communication)

If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused to receive marketing communications, we will use your email address to send our marketing communications.

On what legal basis?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR - our legitimate interests, which include targeted marketing communications to our customers.

How long will we process personal data?

X years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at email: info@sebestova.sk.

Who will have access to the data?

Your personal data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other persons who help us run our e-shop have access to your personal data. These are:

  • The operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., with its registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Czech Republic, Identification No.: 289 35 675, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25395)
  • Companies involved in the shipment of goods (Slovak Post, DPD, Packeta)

 

We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

What else should you know?

We do not have a data protection officer in our company. Our company does not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling. If you have any questions regarding personal data, please contact us at the email address info@sebestova.sk.

Your rights regarding the processing of personal data The GDPR regulation gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process about you, to request access to this data, and have it updated or corrected. You may also request the limitation of processing, ask for a copy of the processed personal data, request the deletion of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases, you have the right to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. If you believe that we are not handling your data properly, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority or to seek legal action.
